Miss Slovenia 2026 Elin Kos is turning her title into an opportunity to help young people build confidence with money while strengthening local businesses and communities. The economics student from Poljane was crowned on March 29 at Ljubljana’s Gospodarsko razstavišče. As she prepares to represent Slovenia at Miss World 2027 in Tanzania, she is committed to championing practical financial education and meaningful community initiatives. Studying money and finance at the University of Ljubljana, Elin brings both academic insight and personal conviction to the cause. Her first experience in a pageant led to the national crown Miss Slovenia 2026, and she also earned the Miss Congeniality award, chosen by her fellow contestants. Her predecessor, Amadea Zupan, crowned her after representing Slovenia at Miss World 2026 in Vietnam. Elin has already brought a young person’s perspective to broader discussions about financial awareness. At Slovenia’s Zavarovanec 360 insurance conference in September, she spoke about insurance and the importance of making information accessible. She also participates in the university’s Management Group and attends investment workshops, extending her knowledge beyond the classroom. Fitness, Pilates and music are among her interests, and she remains close to her family and the natural surroundings of her hometown. As Miss Slovenia, Elin hopes to work with national director Jelka Verk on initiatives in the Poljane Valley, connecting local communities with projects that promote Slovenian businesses and culture. By placing financial literacy, personal development and community engagement at the heart of her reign, Elin aims to make a lasting contribution and bring Slovenia’s story to the Miss World stage.
