The trio actively planted trees while learning about the local forest and its ecosystems. Their visit was part of a broader 2026 reforestation effort that planted 5,500 trees at Ta Kóu Nature Reserve, with more than 130 volunteers working under the guidance of experts from the Gaia Nature Conservation Centre.

For Chelsea, the experience held special meaning. She has been involved in mangrove reforestation in the Philippines since 2019 and sees tree planting as a tangible way to support environmental conservation. At Ta Kóu, she continued that commitment by getting her hands in the soil, planting trees, and learning more about Vietnam’s forests and ecosystems.

Their shared experience offered a compelling reminder: every effort to restore nature can contribute to a greener future.
